当日の流れ

１，Reservations are required. Please make an appointment in advance before coming to the salon.
※完全予約制です

※Bra tops (camisole with cups) are recommended. Please have your hair and makeup done in advance. If you do it here, it will shorten the time for photographing and walking around.

ブラトップ（キャミソールカップ付）推奨。ヘアメイクは予めセットしてきてください。こちらで行うと撮影や散策時間が短くなります。
２，Dressing in a private room
個室で着付け
After suggesting a kimono and obi that suit you, we will dress you.We will keep your clothes and baggage. Please make sure to bring your valuables with you.
Please note that zori may be difficult to prepare depending on the size of your shoes.

あなたに似合うお着物や帯をご提案後、着付けを行います。襟の開きや角度などあなたに似合う着付けをします。
※着用されていたお洋服やお荷物はお預かりいたします。貴重品は必ずお持ちください。
※草履はサイズによってはご用意が難しい場合もございます。
３，Photo Shooting
写真撮影
Move to the location where the photo will be taken. The shooting time will depend on the distance traveled, but will take approximately 50 minutes.

撮影場所に移動して、写真を撮ります。撮影時間は移動する距離にもよりますが、約50分となります。
４，Video Shooting
動画撮影

Video will be taken along with the photos.
It takes about 50 minutes including the photos.

写真と一緒に動画も撮影します。
写真と含めて約５０分間の撮影です。

５，8retouched photos and
a PV-style short movie as a present
写真と動画お届け
We will select 8 photos from among those taken and retouch them. We will edit the video and make it into a original short movie. We will send you the data within 48 hours after the shooting.

撮影した写真の中から、こちらで8枚選んでレタッチします。動画は編集して、1本のオリジナルショート動画に仕上げます。撮影後、原則48時間以内にデータでお送りします。

Finding beauty within yourself
I had an amazing experience, I felt beautiful both inside and out. I don't take compliments very easily because I am an American plus size women (call it a lack of self esteem), but Rumiko-san definitely made me feel absolutely beautiful through her compliments and the positive reactions of Japanese netizens during the photoshoot.

When you make an appointment, please be sure to read the instructions and prepare before you arrive. It is definitely helpful for Rumiko-san, and this allows you to enjoy your time during the photoshoot. So you are not spending majority of your time getting ready.

Rumiko-san had several gorgeous kimonos for me to try on along with various accessories. She was able to find one that fit me, though we had to do some modifications being plus size, but it never affected the esthetic.

Once I was ready, due to weather conditions we had the photoshoot indoors at the most incredible gallery and hotel I have ever seen. We had taken so many pictures in various areas within the gallery and hotel. It was so much fun.

Rumiko-san definitely knew what would work best when guiding me during the photoshoot. The pictures and video she sent me were fantastic and I had received many comments and compliments.

I would encourage anyone to try this, for me I thought it would be fun to try something new in Japan, but in the end it was much more. It was therapy too show me how beautiful I am.

In 2023, I started KIMONO THERAPY business and have grown it into a very popular service, offering it to customers in Japan and international markets.

FAQ

Q. Is there anything I need to prepare?
A We will prepare kimono, KIMONO underwear, tabi (socks), zori（sandals）, and other necessary items, so please feel free to come to the store empty-handed. No bags are provided.

We recommend a bra top for undergarments, but a bra and camisole will also be fine.

During the winter months, we recommend wearing leggings and bringing a shawl or scarf for your neck.Jackets are unavailable for rent.Zori sandals may not be available depending on size.
※Underwear is sold separately for ¥3,000.
※During the winter, we recommend that you wear leggings.
 
Q. How long does it take to get dressed?
A. Although it varies from person to person, it takes about 60 minutes to check your kimono and dress you.
We recommend that you have your hair done in advance.

If you arrive late or do your hair and makeup at the salon, you will lose that amount of time for the shoot, so please come prepared.
 
Q. Can I keep the clothes I have changed into?
A Yes, we will take good care of your clothes. Only valuables are to be taken by the customer.

Q. When will the kimono be returned?
A: At the end of the 3-hour course (about 30 minutes before), you will change in the salon.

Q. Can I cancel?
A. In principle, we do not accept cancellations after purchase.

Q. Is there a cancellation fee?
A. As cancellation is not possible in principle, the purchase price will be applied to the cancellation fee as it is.

Q. When do I need to make a reservation by?
Up to the day before is fine, if available. 4 weeks in advance is recommended.

Q. What happens if the kimono is stained or torn?
In any case, repair and cleaning fees will be charged separately.

Q. Can I use my credit card at the salon?
No, we do not accept credit cards. Cash or PayPal, accepted.

Q. 用意していくものはありますか？
A着物・長襦袢・足袋・草履など必要なものはご用意しておりますので、手ぶらでご気軽にご来店ください。
インナーはブラトップを推奨しておりますが、ブラジャーにキャミソールでも大丈夫です。
冬季期間中はヒートテックにようなインナー、レギンスなどを着用、首元用にショールやマフラーをご持参頂くことをお勧めします。上着のレンタルはありません。
草履はサイズによって、ご用意が出来ない可能性もあります。
 
Q. 着付けにかかる所要時間は？
A個人差はありますが、着物の確認と 着付けで約60分間です。ヘアセットは事前に整えて来店頂くことをおすすめします。
お時間に遅れたり、現地でヘアメイクなどを行うとその分散策や撮影時間が減ってしまうため、準備を整えてご来店頂くことをお勧め致します。
 
Q. 着替えた服などは預かってもらえますか？
Aはい、大切にお預かり致します。貴重品のみお客様でお持ち頂いております。
 
Q. 着物の返却はいつになりますか？
A各コース最後となります。

Q. キャンセルはできますか？
A商品購入後、原則、致しかねます。

Q. キャンセル料はかかりますか？
Aキャンセルが原則不可なため、購入代金がそのままキャンセル料に充当されます。

Q. 予約はいつまで可能ですか？
A.空いていれば前日まで大丈夫です。２週間前までを推奨します。

Q. 着物を汚してしまったり、破いてしまった場合はどうなりますか？
いかなる場合も修繕代、クリーニング代を別途請求致します。


Q. お店でカードは使用できますか？
カードは使えません。現金かPayPayでお願いします。
